The historic and beautifully appointed $5 million Bucyrus Club & Event Center is located in downtown South Milwaukee, minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Opened in 2021, the 27,000 square-foot facility can host events from 30 to more than 300 in its two ballrooms, Founder’s Room lounges, and other unique spaces. It is also home to the Founder’s Room restaurant, open weekdays for breakfast and lunch. The club has a rich history. The shovels that dug the Panama Canal were built here. Later, as the Employee Club, it hosted the extended Bucyrus family for generations of employee lunches, special events and community gatherings. The building reopened in 2021, completely renovated with an authentic story that comes through at every turn, from the original Cream City brick and woodworking to its local historical displays and the Bucyrus Museum upstairs — a great place for a cocktail and appetizer party.

“Where do I even begin?! The Bucyrus club is TOP TIER as a wedding venue!!!! They truly exceeded our expectations for our big day and for that I am truly grateful! Elyse, Andrea, Heather, Tegan, Ernie (and the rest of the AMAZING staff) went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was PERFECT and that it was! The Bucyrus club is not just a venue to book for a wedding they truly treated my husband and I like family!!! If we needed any extra help or coordination on our special day they were there to help with whatever it was!!! The staff was SO accommodating with any and everything we needed! The food was AMAZING!!!! 10/10…with all of our wedding guests raving about it all night! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space was beautiful and spacious for all of our guests to have a good time!!!
