Why I photograph weddings:

I love capturing love. From beginning to get ready, to the final dance at the reception, I’m here to document one of the most important and special days of a couple’s life. I’m available to capture weddings, elopements, civil unions and commitment ceremonies, whether big or small, locally or out of the country. I enjoy capturing destination weddings as well. I photographed a wedding in the Ahr wine region in Germany and vow renewals in Jamaica.

A dense, moist and decadent cream cheese frosting carrot cake.

My favorite place to visit:

Where magical forests open up to a wide expansive beach with just water and sky on the horizon.

My ideal Friday night:

If I’m not working a wedding, hanging with my fam and soaking up the remaining “kid years” with my son.

A little more about me:

I love nature, sunlight, reflections, shallow depth of field, soft light, love, passion, honest laughs, genuine smiles, and try to incorporate all these in every wedding I shoot. I’m constantly exploring new ways to elevate my images to the next level and I approach each job with flexibility, compassion, respect, honesty, reason and excitement.

I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a BFA in photography, film, and electronic media in 2007 and have been photographing weddings for over 15 years.
