Why I photograph weddings:

Photography runs deep within my blood. There are two things I love about photography. The first is the ability to capture your story, and documenting all of your special moments. The second thing I love is interacting with my clients. I love being able to get to know our clients and their families. I have the opportunity to quietly observe and capture moments of their love, personalities, movements, gestures, and depth. It’s the greatest honor I could ever have.

My favorite quote:

Patience is not the ability to wait. Waiting is a fact of life. Patience is the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. – Joyce Meyer

My favorite dessert:

I love red velvet, lemon, and carrot cakes.

My favorite place to visit:

My favorite place to travel to on the planet is Las Vegas, Nevada (no not for the gabbling lol). I love the culture, the activities, and most importantly the variety of food. Las Vegas has some of the best restaurants from the world’s greatest chefs all in one place. If I ever go missing, you can find me there lol.

My ideal Friday night:

During wedding season my nights would be filled with dancing with the couple that I am honored to be capturing that night! However, during the down season you could find me at dinner with my family as it is our custom to purvey a restaurant where we can spend some time together.

A little more about me:

My name is Casey Adams and I am Professional Wedding & Portrait Photographer based in Chicago, IL. It has been my honor and privilege to document weddings all over the United States and abroad, helping couples tell their stories and capture their special moments through photography since 2005.

I love collaborating with my clients to create something completely custom, bringing their ideas and style to life. I make sure I take time to communicate in depth with my couples prior to the wedding/session and share some of my ideas as well as receive feedback from my couples to make sure their story is told through the imagery we capture on their special day.

I employ a photojournalistic, documentary style approach to the craft of wedding photography. This means that I use my skills and many years of experience behind the camera to candidly and unobtrusively capture events and emotions of your day naturally as they unfold. My goal is to create stunningly beautiful and authentic pictures that tell a complete story and let you relive those moments every time you look through your wedding photographs.
