After their wedding, Cathy and Matt were raving about their photographer on their big day! We’re so excited when couples have a blast with our TWA Chicago wedding photographers and we couldn’t help but share their sweet words (and amazing photos)!
I really don’t even know where to begin. Art was seamless, friendly, incredibly helpful when needed, and kept our interests at the highest priority all day. Between making sure we went to all of the places we wanted to go to for photos, keeping everybody in the wedding party on task, and ensuring all pictures that were taken were ones we would be truly excited for, I don’t think we could have asked for a better and more helpful photographer!
Art was really great with us pre wedding communicating his ideas, and listening to ours. He was genuinely interested in everything we had to say, and took all of those things to heart. He also did an incredible job on the day of the wedding to make sure that we knew exactly what was going on, what was going to happen once we got to the locations we were having our pictures taken at, and how we were going to move throughout our day.
Art was phenomenal! He literally stopped traffic outside of Wrigley Field before a Cubs vs Cardinals game to get the perfect shot of Cathy and me in the crosswalk directly in front of the stadium to capture what may possibly be the coolest wedding photo ever taken! He had a clear and well defined plan of where and what to shoot, how to best use the time allotted to each location, and even creates unique pictures for us that we didn’t realize we even wanted! Both during the ceremony and the reception dinner, Art masterfully moved throughout the space taking incredible pictures and then seemingly vanishing throughout the event like a ghost. There were moments he was taking pictures that we had no clue he was even around to take. He was also incredibly friendly and thoughtful throughout the day. Most importantly, he managed to work through a rainstorm during our ceremony and with all the professionalism and talent anyone could ever ask for in a photographer. He was incredible from the moment he arrived, up until he finished.
We seriously couldn’t be happier about how art handled our wedding day. Art blended into our wedding celebration as if he was an invited guest! He also came up with some incredibly clever ways to make sure that the photos that we wanted were taken. We had a wedding trolley take us around After the ceremony for pictures at Wrigley Field and the Adler Planetarium, and without question the most fun idea art had was to say that Bill Murray was on our trolley so that we could park closely to where we were taking photos at Wrigley Field, and it went off without a hitch! Art also had a beautiful cultural connection with Cathy‘s family which really allowed him to feel more like an old friend, rather than a professional photographer. We ended up having so much fun with art at our wedding ceremony and reception, that we all lost track of time! We are so excited to suggest TWA photography to all of our friends moving forward and we cannot thank you all enough for giving us such a wonderful experience on the happiest day our lives!
