Chelsea & Matthew’s Olive Park Engagement Session | TWA Photographic Artists | Chicago Wedding Photographers
Looking for the perfect combination of iconic cityscape views and relaxed beach vibes for your engagement photos? From ideal skyline backgrounds to sandy beachfront along Lake Michigan, Milton Lee Olive Park in Chicago has everything you need! We always love seeing the stunning Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, historic Hancock building, and picture-perfect sights of the city from the park.
Chelsea and Matthew had ideal settings for their spring engagement session. The warm, early evening lighting was beautiful before the sun started to set over the city. This time of the day, the lighting can be so soft and dreamy!
Olive Park is a secluded urban oasis on Lake Michigan offering spectacular skyline views, serene paths, and circular fountains. This tranquil green space is a hidden gem in Chicago even though it’s located just north of Navy Pier and just east of the popular Ohio Street Beach. The park was named in honor of Milton Lee Olive, a Chicago-born Medal of Honor recipient, in 1979 by the City of Chicago.
We love how versatile Chelsea and Matthew’s outfits were as they transitioned from a classy, city atmosphere to casual, beach moods. Chelsea’s flowing dress seamlessly matches each setting and Matthew’s simple, classic look pairs perfectly as well. It’s so nice to see them having a little more intimate time together down on the beach, away from the city. Barefoot strolls along the lake are always fun and romantic.
