Company 251 is a wedding venue located in Aurora, Illinois. Built in 1908, the historic building was originally an international harvester manufacturing company. Merging the past with the present, it has been renovated with industrial chic, minimalist stylings, creating an elegantly modern setting for any special occasion. Through their precise attention to detail and high-quality customer service, the staff strives to create a luxurious experience for those celebrating their big day.
Company 251 has two event spaces that can accommodate up to 350 guests where couples can host their celebration. The building’s interior features exposed brick walls, original wood columns, marble bars, handmade lighting, and large windows, resulting in a bright space. The venue also has an outdoor patio that can be used for intimate ceremonies and receptions. No matter which event space you select, it can be adjusted to fit your unique wedding vision. Before the festivities begin, you and your partner are invited to prepare in separate get-ready suites.
Company 251 can provide you with an all-inclusive six-hour venue rental. An event manager is available to help coordinate the details of your day. Items such as tables, chairs, additional furniture, and more can be supplied for any celebration. To alleviate stress on the day, the staff is happy to set up your ceremony and reception. Outside vendors of your choosing are also welcome to contribute to your big day.
In-house catering is provided by the venue’s parent company, Moveable Feast + CO. For your celebration, you will be provided an artisanal food and drink program that matches the city loft’s aesthetic. Helmed by Executive Chef Chris Ayukawa, the culinary team crafts menus that are based on seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. Your selected meal can be served buffet-style or plated depending on your preferences. The venue offers tastings prior to your event to ensure that you are satisfied with your menu. Additionally, the catering team is happy to prepare hors d’oeuvres and desserts. A champagne toast can be provided, and the in-house bar is stocked with signature drinks and premium liquor for you to enjoy throughout the event.
