Jazmin & David’s Winter Wedding | TWA Photographic Artists | Chicago Wedding Photographers
As our summer wedding season peaks, we are excited to look back at some of our amazing winter moments with some sweet couples that were brave enough to bare the cold in Chicago. Some chilly weather and cold air sounds pretty good right about now!
Jazmin and David were married in a prominent location downtown, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, this past November. This historic church is a prime example of the Polish Cathedral style architecture of churches in both its magnificence and grand scale. Full of stunning stained glass windows, intricate religious statues, and grandeur paintings, this space surely makes any celebration feel incredibly special.
Even with the usual cold, winter weather, we were so happy that Jazmin and David wanted to take photos around the city. One of the benefits of a winter wedding downtown is that there’s definitely less traffic and people out and about! It makes is much easier to take photos, especially with a larger wedding party.
These two are so sweet together! Throughout their entire day, Jazmin and David were always grinning. It’s no surprise their wedding party was too! As we look back at these images, Jazmin’s beaming smile is so contagious and David’s happiness is just radiating in these photos. We’re sure these two had a blast on their wedding day!
Are you planning a winter wedding? We think it’s a great idea and there’s a lot of unique benefits to consider!
When it comes to choosing a wedding date, we consider the winter months to be kind of like a best-kept secret.
Why should you get married in the winter?
Winter weddings can take place anytime between mid-November and early March. Getting married during the winter has a few perks that you won’t necessarily experience at other times of the year. While November through February is best known as engagement season, it’s also a great time to get married—you may be able to benefit from lower prices, more availability, and less competition during this time.”
