What is an engagement photo session? Why should you do one? These are questions that some newly-engaged sweethearts ask us as they’ve just started wedding planning. Engagement photo sessions are frequently a couples’ first formal photos together. Our engagement photography is focused on showcasing our couples’ personalities through journalistic and artistic photography. The images from these sessions can be used to announce your engagement, display at your wedding, and also used as gifts or keepsakes. We love helping our couples coming up with creative Save the Date prints to send out for your wedding guests too!
Do you like being photographed? Not everyone is a natural, and that’s ok! Holding an engagement photo session allows couples to feel more comfortable being in front of the camera too. Our experienced photographers will help give direction, make posing recommendations, and offer prop suggestions as needed. Our knowledge and creativity will ensure your engagement photo session is a fun and memorable experience that you both will be excited to share!

Katrina and Lucas’ photos are fully of genuine smiles, gentle touches, and close embraces. They are true to themselves and their love just shines through these images! Many times, we end up telling couples to stick with whatever feels most natural since forced actions can easily look uncomfortable in the end product. These two definitely got the hang of it and just by looking at their photos, no one would even be able to tell if they were nervous or not- they sure look naturally photogenic!
