My homemade pizza, a bottle of good red wine to help wash it down, my two daughters + wife and a great movie to watch together in the family room.

A little more about me:

I’m animated and gregarious. I never take myself too seriously and laugh a lot. My friends say I tell the best stories because of this. I’ve been crazy about shooting photos with a camera since I was a little kid. My first paid job was as a staff photographer for The Northern Star during college at Northern Illinois University. I really honed my craft and learned storytelling by working with a team of photojournalists for 2 years. I also play acoustic and electric guitar, a little banjo, mandolin and ukulele too. Guitar being my fave. I couldn’t live without music and I love all genres of it. I’m also an avid golfer and have been trying to get a hole in one before I die since I was 9 years old. The ideal vacation for me is visiting a beautiful national park and taking lots of photos of birds, landscapes and family. Last but not least, I love to fish and I keep in shape by training in the martial arts to this day and until I am no longer able.
