The Village of Hinsdale is pleased you are considering The Lodge at Katherine Legge Memorial Park for your special wedding event. The Lodge is located on 52 beautiful acres of woodland, a perfect setting for any occasion. The land and facilities were donated to the Village of Hinsdale in 1973. The Lodge has a maximum facility capacity of up to 230 people when utilizing both floors. The first floor can hold 120 for a seated event but can accommodate 150 when the living room furniture is removed. The second floor can hold a maximum of 100 people for a seated event. Event space inside The Lodge consists of the first floor, second floor and rear patio (weather permitting). Tents may be rented for additional outdoor event space. “We rented out the lodge for our wedding reception and enjoyed our time and the venue. Everyone was great to work with and it was a lovely venue. The Lodge staff was extremely helpful with the planning and helped answer any question we had and since we worked with a caterer off their list, they were also very knowledgeable and well-acquainted with the space. They let us stop by and do a couple different walk-throughs and helped by offering some suggestions. The day of, they had everything set-up that they said they would so our caterer could come in and do the finishing touches.
